The weekend has started off right. Last night I had after work cocktails outdoors at the Crosby Hotel, and followed that up with a delicious dinner at Emporio. Other than the great company, it was also great because my entree was delicious. I ordered the ricotta agnolotti, which was my first meal this season with ramps. Ramps are so good! Especially when they’re paired with mushrooms and pasta, two other food items that I love.
So this morning, after I worked my ass off with my girl friend at an intense 930am spin class at Flywheel, I met up with two other friends at the Union Square Green Market. Perfect timing as the rain had stopped and the sun came out as we strolled through the market. And solely because of my delicious meal the night before, I left the market with ramps and oyster mushrooms. I look forward to the rest of this weekend! :)
